Members of the Lagos State House of Assembly on Monday took some preventive measures against the deadly Coronavirus (COVID-19), as some of them attended the plenary wearing face masks and hand gloves.
Also, the Speaker, Mr. Mudashiru Obasa, during plenary announced that henceforth, the House would reduce the number of staff, visitors and journalists to be allowed into the chamber.
It would be recalled that the state government over the weekend announced that members of the public should avoid social and religious gatherings of more than 50 people.

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Sunday, introduced more preventive measures to break the cycle of transmission of the novel Coronavirus among residents, directing the state’s civil servants from Grade Level 1 to 12 to stay off office for 14 days and work from home.
It would also be recalled that Obasa last Thursday during plenary called on Sanwo-Olu to create more awareness on the dreaded Coronavirus with a view to prevent its spread in the state.
