Kate Middleton and her daughter, 2-year-old Princess Charlotte, looked pretty in pink on Saturday for the annual birthday event celebrating Queen Elizabeth II, who turned 91 in April.

The Duchess of Cambridge wore a bubblegum pink Alexander McQueen skater dress, which she paired with a matching Jane Taylor hat and teardrop earrings. Her mini-me looked equally fab, sporting a pink polka-dot frock, white socks and berry-colored Mary Jane.
While the mother-daughter duo definitely turned heads in their matching ensembles, Prince George totally stole the show! The 3-year-old donned a cream Peter Pan-collared shirt with burgundy suspender shorts, appearing rather bored as the Royal Air Force show went on. But it looks like he was just channeling his father, Prince William, who gave the same look at the annual event years ago when he was a toddler.

Kate Middleton is no stranger to the fashion world. She is constantly surprising fans with sensible, classy glamor. But when it comes to the Queen’s birthday, Kate knew she had to step it up a notch. That’s why she and Charlotte rocked millennial pink during the Queen’s annual birthday parade — appropriately named Trooping the Colour.

Now in her 30s and a mom of two maybe our beloved Kate has decided it’s time to go bold. Or maybe little Charlotte’s fav shades are inspiring some twinning! We cannot wait to see what other trends Duchess Kate and Princess Charlotte try out next together.
