Deputy Governor of Kano State, Nasiru Gawuna, and the state Commissioner for Local Government, Sule Garo, have been arrested by the police over alleged threat to public peace.
The Next Edition gathered that the duo were picked up for barging into the Nasarawa collation centre and allegedly disrupting the collation of results of the Governorship Elections in the Centre.

It was gathered that they were saved from being manhandled by supporters of the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, at the Centre.
