As the body of Deborah Yakubu was laid to rest in her home town in Niger State, United Nations, UN, Deputy Secretary-General, Amina Mohammed, has vowed that justice will be done for the brutal treatment meted out on her.
Amina Mohammed who took to her Twitter handle to express her feelings described the killing as senseless and brutal.
She cautioned that it was time people stop misinterpreting religion as though they preach violence when in deed, they preach peace.

She prayed for the repose of the young Deborah and also prayed God to console the family
Amina said, “Justice must be done for the senseless and brutal killing of the young Deborah Samuel in Nigeria.
“Religion Should not be misinterpreted to preach violence when they promote peace.
“My prayers are with the family and for the repose of her soul.”
The Next Edition recalls that Deborah, a student of Shehu Shagari Polytechnic, Sokoto state was murdered for alleged blasphemy.
