JUST IN: Supreme Court upholds High Court judgement annulling Rivers APC primaries

The Supreme Court has upheld the judgement of the Federal High Court in Port Harcourt, which barred the All Progressives Congress from fielding candidates in the general elections in Rivers State.

The court presided over by Justice Kolawole Omotosho had nullified the direct and indirect primary elections allegedly conducted by the factions of the party in the state.
