The National Judicial Council has issued another query to the suspended Chief Justice of Nigeria, CJN, Justice Walter Onnoghen.
The fresh query follows a petition raised against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
The NJC, which took the decision after its meeting in Abuja on Monday, asked the CJN to respond to the query within seven working days. It also raised a Preliminary Complaints Assessment Committee to consider the responses of the suspended CJN and the Acting CJN, Tanko Mohammed.
