Masked men, suspected to be men of the Nigeria Police on Friday stormed the Police Clinic in Garki, Abuja where embattled Senator Dino Melaye has been receiving treatment and whisked him away.
Reports suggest that he may have been taken to Lokoja, Kogi State, for interrogation over the alleged shooting of a police officer Sgt. Danjuma Aliu by suspected political thugs, in July, 2018.
Recall that for eight day in December 2018, the Police laid siege to Melaye’s Abuja residence in an effort to arrest him when he refused to honour an invitation by the Force to appear for questioning.

It was gathered that the lawmaker was evacuated around 2:15 pm.
Melaye, who has been having a running battle with the Force, was rushed to the clinic for medical attention after he slumped last Friday.
