The Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Mohammed Adamu on Friday ordered the redeployment of Rivers State Police Commissioner, Dandaura Mustapha.
His redeployment was part of an exercise which affected other police commissioners.
A statement issued by the Force Public Relations Officer, Frank Mba, which disclosed this noted that the posting and redeployment of the affected senior officers was with immediate effect.

The statement read in part: “The Inspector General of Police (IGP) M.A Adamu, NPM, has ordered the posting and redeployment of the following Senior Police Officers to Command/Formation/Department indicated against their names: CP Dandaura Mustapha – CP Provost FHQ, Abuja, CP Joseph Gobum Mukan,– CP Rivers Command, and CP Musa Adze, fdc – CP Anti-Fraud Unit.”
The IGP charged the affected Commissioners of Police to diligently and professionally discharge their duties in their new areas of responsibilities.
