Akwa Ibom State Governor, Udom Emmanuel, has won the governorship election in his polling unit, Unit 1, Awa Ward 1, in Onna Local Government Area, of the State.
Mr Udom who is the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, is seeking re-election in the just concluded governorship election.
According to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, the PDP’s Udom Emmanuel polled 468 in the governorship election defeating his main opponent, Nsima Ekere, of the All Progressives Congress, APC, who got zero vote.

For the House of Assembly, PDP scored 467 at the polling unit, while APC scored zero. Another party, the Peoples Coalition Party, PCP, scored only one vote.
