GTBank: The Dusty Manuscript winner emerges Wednesday

The winners of The Dusty Manuscript contest, an initiative of GTBank, will be announced in Lagos on Wednesday.

According to a statement issued by the bank, the contest is a platform for budding writers to win publishing deals for their unpublished works.

Individuals across the country have earlier been invited to submit short stories for the competition.

The competition which started in April, 2018, has no fewer than 1,000 entries submitted.

It was later pruned down to 112 following assessments by the judges.

The overall winner will be announced at the event which is holding on Wednesday at the GTBank head office, Victoria Island, Lagos.

Winners will go home with cash prizes of N1,000,000 (first prize), N500,000 (second prize) and  N250,000 (third winner) as well as publishing contracts with Kachifo Ltd.
