Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State and his Cross River State counterpart, Ben Ayade have commiserated with former Senate Leader, Victor Ndoma-Egba over his wife’s death.
Mrs. Amaka Victor Ndoma-Egba died in an auto crash on Ore-Okitipupa expressway in Ore, Odigbo Local Government Area (LGA)of Ondo State on Thursday, alongside six others.
In a statement by the Ondo State Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Mr. Donald Ojogo, on Saturday in Akure Akeredolu described Mrs. Ndoma-Egba’s death as shocking and devastating, condoling with the former Senate Leader.
Akeredolu also condoled with all those who lost loved ones in the auto crash.
The statement read in part: “The governor, who prayed for the repose of the departed souls, said the death of Amaka was particularly a big blow to friends, associates and professional colleagues of the senator with whom he shared a level of commonality.
“This is a shared moment of sobriety and a hurt of immeasurable magnitude of our collective emotions.

“The government and the good people of Ondo State are no doubt, devastated and shocked at this incident.
“Our hearts and prayers as well as thoughts as government and people of Ondo State are with the Ndoma-Egba family as well as other affected families.”
He prayed God to grant the former senate leader and all affected, the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
In his own condolence message, Gov. Ayade said Mrs. Ndoma-Egba’s death was a severe blow to all who knew her.
Speaking through a statement by his Special Adviser, Media and Publicity, Mr. Christian Ita, on Saturday in Calabar, the governor noted that Amaka’s her demise was yet another vissicitude to befall the former Senate Leader in recent times.
He said: “Dear Victor, the death of your dear wife is a severe blow on all of us who knew her, and a harder blow on you as her husband, friend and confidant.
“Words cannot adequately convey my heartfelt sorrow over Amaka’s death, for she was a kind and beautiful soul who spread love to all who encountered her.”
Ayade urged Sen. Ndoma-Egba and his family to be consoled by the fact that the deceased selflessly and fervently served God and humanity during her salutary and impactful life on earth.
He prayed God to grant Ndoma-Egba the fortitude to bear the loss and eternal peace to Amaka’s soul.
