Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano State on Saturday inaugurated five new commissioners to the State Executive Council.
Their inauguration followed the approval of the State House of Assembly.
The new commissioners are: Malam Ahmad Rabiu, (Commerce and Tourism); Aisha Jafar, (Budget and planning); Musa Kwankwaso, (Special duties); Mr. Aminu Aliyu, (Works and Housing), and Mr. Muktar Ibrahim, (Justice).

They were sworn in by the state Solicitor-General, Malam Sani Daniel.
While congratulating the new commissioners, the governor implored them to justify the trust reposed in them.
He advised them to always treat all citizens of the state equally and be creative in their approach to the development of the state.
It would be recalled that Ganduje dropped five out of the 14 commissioner in the state to accommodate new ones.
