A retired Justice of the Supreme Court, Justice Suleiman Galadima, has been appointed as the head of the Corruption and Financial Crime Cases Trial Monitoring Committee.
He replaces a former President of the Court of Appeal, Justice Ayo Salami.
Salami resigned as the chairman of the 16-man committee before it was inaugurated.
It was gathered that he felt uncomfortable with the constitution of the members of the committee.
Announcing the appointment of Galadima, the NJC, in a statement by the Director of Information, Mr. Soji, said the committee would be inaugurated on Wednesday.
