Femi Otedola, CEO Forte Oil Plc, has thrown his weight behind the All Progressive Congress, APC, Lagos state Governorship candidate, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
In an instagram post on Saturday, Otedola who was rumoured to be running for the office of the Lagos state governor on the platform of People’s Democratic Party, PDP, made public his endorsement of Sanwo-Olu.

He wrote:
“Dinner at my residence yesterday evening, with my childhood friend APC Governorship Candidate @JideSanwoOlu. GOVERNOR IN WAITING! ? … F.Ote? #Lagos2019 #NextGovernorofLagos.”
Sanwo-Olu defeated the incumbent governor, Akinwunmi Ambode to emerge the APC governorship candidate.
