Leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, IMN, otherwise known as Shiites, Ibrahim El-Zakzaky, and his wife, Zeenat, have arrived Nigeria from India.
They landed at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, on Friday afternoon.
The couple left the country four days ago for medical treatment in India.
However, the trip was fraught with controversies. While the El-Zakzaky’s claimed the Nigerian and Indian Governments were frustrating their efforts to receive medical attention, the Federal Government claimed El-Zakzaky was being unruly.
On Thursday however, the El-Zakzaky’s discharged themselves from the hospital in India, choosing to return to Nigeria.
