EFCC arrived Ekpeyong’s residence in the morning where they carried out a raid.
Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, have stormed the residence of former Director General of the Department of Secret Service, DSS, Ita Ekpeyong.
They arrived the residence in the morning where they carried out a raid.
It would be recalled that Ekpeyong’s successor, Lawal Daura, who was fired on Tuesday by the Acting President Yemi Osinbajo, had prevented a raid of Ekpeyong’s house in 2017.
Operatives of the EFCC and the DSS had a confrontation at the time before it was stemmed.
The raid is coming barely two days after the sack of Daura.
