Two pro-South East socio-cultural and civil rights groups, the Eastern Union and Igbo Think Tank Movement Worldwide and Oriental Platform have honoured Austin Oguejiofor, the Onwa Enugwu Ukwu n’Umunri and Group Chairman, First Rotech Group.
Oguejiofor, a Real Estate guru, whose award was presented in Abuja last week, was honoured as the Nigerian Businessman of Integrity and Patriotism.
Speaking at the occasion, Charles Anike, National President of Eastern Union, whose organisation speaks for the people of old Eastern Region, said the award was long overdue, adding that Oguejiofor’s conglomerate had diversified into transportation, oil and gas, and agriculture through his numerous companies.
Anike said: “Chief Oguejiofor is a shining star and one who has contributed a lot to the development of the real estate sector in Nigeria by providing jobs for the youths and empowering others in his philanthropic drive. We are proud to be associated with him, and for his forthrightness, integrity and honesty in his areas of business.
