The Oyo State Police Command says it is searching for a driver who allegedly ran over a woman with his car following an argument.
The incident was said to have occurred on October 14, 2022 in Ojoo area of Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
The 48-year-old woman, Abimbola Uthman, was said to have died from the incident.
The News Agency of Nigeria gathered that the man allegedly hit the woman’s car at the back and when she went out of the car to protest, the man warned her to move aside or he would drive over her.

When she refused to budge, the driver allegedly mowed down the woman and drove off.
The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Adewale Osifeso, told NAN in a text message that the police were hunting for the suspect.
Osifeso said: “Investigation has commenced.
“Updates would be provided accordingly, please.”
