Additional 250 cases of the Coronavirus have been announced by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
This brings to 53,727, the total number of infections in the country.
According to the health body, the cases were reported from 19 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

Meanwhile, the health agency said no death occurred in the last 24 hours.
In an update posted on its verified Twitter handle, the NCDC also said a total of 41,313 have been discharged after making full recovery from the disease.
Plateau recorded the highest number of fresh cases with 69 new infections, followed by the FCT with 41 cases and Lagos with 21 new infections.
