The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has reported 160 fresh cases of Coronavirus in the country.
The health agency said on Saturday that with the latest cases, the total number of infections in the country has risen to 56,177.

Also, the health body disclosed that two deaths arising from the disease occurred on the day in review, bringing the total number of such deaths to 1,078.
As of Saturday, the NCDC said 44,088 cases have been discharged across the country.
The 160 new cases were reported from 12 states and Abuja, as follows – FCT (39), Plateau (39), Lagos (30), Kaduna (23), Katsina (7), Rivers (6), Oyo (6), Yobe (3), Benue (3), Bayelsa (1), Abia (1), Edo (1) and Ekiti (1).
