Lagos State Government on Sunday directed its public servants on Grade 01-12 to stay at home for the next 14 days as a precaution to contain the spread of coronavirus pandemic.
However, staff in the health sector, water board and other essential duties are not affected by the directive.
They are to continue with their normal official routine.
Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, who addressed newsmen on Sunday, said government was still monitoring the situation apart from the 19 reported coronavirus cases in the state.

He reiterated the call on Lagosians to observe social distancing to curb the spread of the disease.
Sanwo-Olu also asked people who have just returned from foreign trips self- isolate for 14 days.
He warned churches that flouted the ban on gatherings of more than 50 people during Sunday services that government would not take it lightly, asking their leaders to obey the order.
