Court Remands Maina’s Son In Kuje Correctional Facility

Justice Okon Abang of the Federal High Court in Abuja has ordered that Faisal Abdulrasheed Maina, son of Mr. Abdulrasheed Maina be transferred to the Kuje correctional facility.

Faisal has been in the custody of the Nigeria Police for some weeks now.

Justice Abang ordered the transfer on Wednesday following an application by Faisal’s lawyer, Mohammed Monguno, to that effect.

Recall that Faisal was arraigned on October 25 on a three-count of money laundering and illegal operation of an account.

He was, however, granted bail in the sum of N60 million on November 26.
