Another 31 COVID-19 patients who made full recovery from the disease have been discharged by the Lagos State Government.
The patients comprising 15 females and 16 males were discharged on Monday from six different treatment centres according to the State’s Ministry of Health.
The post on the Ministry’s Twitter handle put the total number of patients who have recovered from the deadly virus in the state as at Monday, at 1771.
The tweet read: “31 fully recovered #COVID19Lagos patients; 15 females & 16 males, all Nigerians were discharged from our Isolation facilities today to reunite with the society.

“The patients; 13 from Agidingbi, 8 from Onikan, 8 from Gbagada, 1 from Mainland Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba and 1 from @LUTHofficial Isolation Centres were discharged after full recovery and testing negative to #COVID19.
“With this, the number of #COVID19 cases successfully managed & discharged from Lagos Isolation Centres has risen to 1771.”
The ministry called on Lagosians to continue to adhere the health protocols issued by the government.
