Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, has officially been declared winner of the Presidential elections in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
This was announced on Monday at the national collation centre, Abuja.
Atiku Abubakar, polled 259, 997 votes to beat incumbent President, Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress, APC, who polled 152, 224 votes.

Total valid votes cast in the FCT was 423, 961 while 27, 457 were declared invalid.
In Kwara state, the APC carried the day. President Buhari garnered 308, 984 votes to defeat Atiku who got 138, 184 votes,
