Lordslight Adedeji Oshinbowale, President, Global Dominion Missions (GDM), Lagos, has said the world must retrace its steps to God to overcome the COVID-19 pandemic.

Apostle Oshinbowale, who spoke to journalists in Lagos on his ministry’s 27th anniversary, said, “We should ask individually how to overcome this disease, poverty, evil and the like. Everything that God created is good. Satan has continually destroyed the handwork of God.”

He charged world leaders not to militarise the Coronavirus pandemic, saying there is somebody that is greater than COVID-19.

“The world is experiencing an unprecedented change through the emergence of the killer disease called COVID-19, which has killed over 200, 000 people across the world within the last five months. It is a known fact, this incident has caused a lot of hardships to the global race, restricting freedom of movement, assembly of people to worship God, locking down of economic and social activities, borders of nations are shut down while giant nations are thrown into a blinded confusion, painting a seeming picture of sudden end of an era. It was in the midst of these global horrors that I decided as a man of God to know what exactly is happening to humanity in this dispensation. And on March 31, 2020, I saw in a dream that darkness has covered the earth and people were in great confusion.”

He stated that having seen all these in his dream, he prayed to God and God revealed to him that the Coronavirus was not from Him.

“God told me this is not from Him. Leaders of nations have been deceived and manipulated by the devil, which strategically derailed their minds to commit the greatest sin against God. And the best way to tackle this COVID-19 pandemic is for the world to come back to God,” he stressed.

Oshinbowale prophesied that death would not come near believers’ dwellings.

“Ideally, it is to remind everyone that God is with us. God has come to take us to His marvelous light, we should not fear, no death. He has assured us that He will not leave us comfortless. No sickness, not even death and other evils will come near our ways. He has conquered sickness and death. He wants to reign, to occupy our lives, COVID-19 is from the devil, and it is trying to take us by surprise because it is not time for Antichrist’s emergence,” he added.

On the celebration of his church’s 27th anniversary, Apostle Oshinbowale restated that the mission of the church is to make life easy for every individual.

“As you all know that Global Dominion Missions (GDM) is a self-giving and non-governmental organisation which was founded to promote a culture of change and develop citizen’s mindset against perpetual mental slavery, which beclouds the destiny of the human race. We shall continue to preach that and that we still be our watchword as we are celebrating our 27th years of existence.

“All nations should seek God’s solutions over this pandemic. God, in the Old Testament demonstrated His capacity to curb this crisis, just as it is stated in Exodus 12:12,” he said.
