T. L High School in South Carolina has revealed plans to honour, late actor, Chadwick Boseman, with a scholarship fund in his name.
Principal of the school, Walter Mayfield, told TMZ that a yearly honour would be given to one deserving student each year from the scholarship.
According to the school official, the scholarship would be called the Chadwick Boseman Memorial Scholarship.
The school’s aim is to raise $100,000 towards the scholarship goal and is reportedly trying to work with the late actor’s family.
The principal said some people have reached out to make contributions towards the project even as it is yet to be made public.

According to reports, Chadwick’s former H.S. basketball coach, Wayne Jones, is pushing for the school to retire number “32” jersey worn by the the actor during his days in the school team.
Boseman who died of colon cancer last month, graduated from T. L. Hanna High School in 1995. He was aged 43.
