Maritime Academy of Nigeria suspends admission exercise

The Maritime Academy of Nigeria, Oron, Akwa Ibom State, has suspended the admission exercise for the 2017/2018 academic session.

The announcement was made in a statement signed by the Director, Corporate Affairs of the institution, Siddi E. Mkpandiok.

This suspension of the exercise, he said was due to the on-going restructuring and repositioning exercise being carried out in the institution by the federal government.

He said, however, that this did not affect Short Courses and Mandatory Programmes which would continue to run as at when due.

As a result, applicants to all regular programmes of the National Diploma, Higher National Diploma and Post Graduate Diploma were are advised to apply to the Office of The Rector, Maritime Academy of Nigeria, Oron, Akwa Ibom State, for the refund of aptitude test fee earlier paid.

The affected candidates, it is stated, are expected to attach the following to their refund application: Photocopy of their Remita Payment Evidence showing RRR (Remita Retrieval Reference); Original Copy of their Bank Teller; Bank and Account Number for refund of the said sum and Phone Number.
