Buhari Sends Names Of NDDC Board Members To Senate For Confirmation

President Muhammadu Buhari has sent the list of names of nominees to the board of Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, to the Senate.

The list has 16 names which Buhari wants the upper chamber to confirm.

The letter from the president was read on the floor of the Senate during Tuesday’s plenary.

After the letter was read, the Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, referred it to the Committee on Niger Delta Development Commission with a directive to report back to the house in a week.
