President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday returned to the Presidential Villa, Abuja on Wednesday after the muslim Eid-el-Kabir festival.
Buhari spent the two-day public holiday declared by the federal government for the celebration in his country home in Daura, Katsina State.
During the period, the president played host to a number of visitors.
While some were there to commemorate the Eid-el-Kabir, others visited to express their happiness over his improved health.
Among the major visitors are the Governor of Katsina State, Aminu Masari, and the Nigerien President, Mahamadou Issoufou.
During the visit, Issoufou discussed with Buhari, issues of mutual benefits to the people of the two countries.
While also at Daura, Buhari reacted to the news of the nation’s exit from recession.
Expressing his happiness over the news, he said, however that the improvement in the economy would make meaning only when it was felt by the common people.
