President Muhammadu Buhari has condemned the killing of the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nasarawa State, Mr. Philip Shekwo, calling on the nation’s security agencies to “do more” to end violence in the country.
Shekwo was abducted by still unknown gunmen from his residence in Lafia on Saturday night and was discovered dead not far from his home on Sunday
In a statement by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, Buhari noted that Police investigation would determine if the politician’s death was an assassination or kidnap-related murder.
