President Muhammadu Buhari has extended his congratulations to Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State for emerging as the Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum, NGF.
In a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and publicity, Femi Adesina, Buhari said he was delighted that Fayemi emerged by consensus, reflecting the degree of confidence reposed in him by his colleagues.
He urged the new NGF chairman to see his election as an opportunity to broker a deeper, harmonious and fruitful working relationship, not only with the Federal Government, but also with other arms and tiers of government.
