President Muhammadu Buhari has condoled with former Chief of General Staff, retired Lt. Gen. Oladipo Diya, over the death of his wife, Mrs. Deborah Folashade Diya.
In a condolence message issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr Femi Adesina, in Abuja on Wednesday, Buhari prayed the almighty God to comfort the family.
The statement said President Buhari joined family members, friends, and associates of Chief Folashade Diya, particularly members of the United African Methodist (Evangelical) Church, in mourning the devout Christian.

The President noted that the deceased dedicated her time on earth to serving God, and working for the good of others.
He affirmed that the wife of the former Chief of General Staff lived to encourage and inspire many on faith in God, “demonstrating love, kindness and generosity through focus on helping the underprivileged, and counselling many.’’
The President prayed for the restful repose of the soul of the departed.
Mrs. Diya passed away on Monday after a brief illness. She was aged 66.
