For the fifth time, Nigeria and Argentina will be in the same group in the World Cup in 2018.

It was only in France 98 that the Super Eagles of Nigeria were not in the same group with Argentina.

On these occasions, Argentina had the better of the Super Eagles.

In Russia 2018, Nigeria will be hoping to defeat Argentina in the World Cup for the first time.
