President of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria, PENGASSAN, Francis Johnson, is dead.

His death was confirmed by the General Secretary of PENGASSAN, Okugbawa Lumumba.

The cause of death was, however, not disclosed though he was said to have been ill.

Johnson became President of the union in 2014.
