President Muhammadu Buhari has approved a new national minimum wage of N30, 000.
He has also promised to send a bill to the National Assembly to effect the change.
Organised Labour had fought for the upward review of the minimum wage from N18, 000 to N30, 000.
Buhari endorsed the new minimum wage while receiving the report of the Tripartite Committee that reviewed National Minimum Wage at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The report was submitted by the committee’s chairman, Ama Pepple.
