It was a very eventful day in the English Premier League as Brighton who were the underdogs defeated the almighty Manchester United 3-1.
It was also eventful because in the other half of Manchester, their bitter rivals, Manchester City thrashed Huddersfield 6-1.
United conceded the first goal in the 24th minute when Solly March got on the left and gave an excellent low cross for Glenn Murray’s wonderful finish.
He got in front of the defender and placed the ball at the near post beating United’s goalkeeper.
Two minutes later, to the shock of everyone watching, Shane Duffy made it 2-0 in favour of the home team.
The goal was an embarrassing one for Man United as Duffy was left unmarked in the 18 yard area.

Lomelu Lukaku pulled one back for United 33 minutes of the game from a corner that Brighton defenders failed to clear.
It gave the Red Devils hope of coming back.
That hope did not last long as a penalty was awarded when Eric Bailly brought down Pascal Gross from behind.
De Gea almost saved the ball but it went in.
That made it 3-1.
Four minutes was added after the full 90 minutes.
At the last minute, Man U were awarded a penalty.
Their star player, Paul Pogba stepped up and scored.
Unfortunately for the Rec Devils, there was no time left on the clock to get the equalizer after Pogba scored from the penalty spot.
