Traffic on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway has been paralysed following an accident involving a Coaster bus and a trailer.

The Next Edition reports that though the accident occurred on the outbound lane of the expressway, traffic on the inbound lane is also affected.

Our correspondent reports that the gridlock is made worse by the blockage of several sections of the road due to the on-going work on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway and a heavy down pour.

The traffic begins at Ibafo and ends shortly before the Redeemed Christian Church of God.
