Two female suicide bombers who attempted to infiltrate troops in Kawuri, Konduga Local Government Area of Borno State were neutralised by the Nigerian troops.
This was made known on Saturday by the Deputy Director Public Relations, Theatre Command Operation Lafiya Dole, Col. Onyema Nwachukwu.

He explained that the suicide bombers had, at about 9.45 p.m. on Friday moved near the military camp when they were detected.
When they refused to obey the command of the troops, they were engaged.
According to him, one of the suicide vests worn by one of them detonated, killing the two of them.
