The military has neutralised no fewer than six members of the terrorists group, Boko Haram, in Damoa and Bama local government areas of Borno State.
The feat was recorded during a clearance operation carried out by the military.
Also, 33 persons – eight men, 12 women and 13 children -were rescued from the terrorists in the operation.

In a statement issued by Army spokesman, Brig.-Gen Texas Chukwu, the people rescued had been profiled and handed over to the appropriate authority.
He stated that six AK 47 rifles, four magazines, 52 rounds of 7.62 mm (special) ammunition, one hand grenade and three locally made Improvised Explosive Devices, IEDs, were recovered from the terrorists at different locations.
