Tragedy struck the University campus on Friday evening 5th, July 20224, After an unidentified dead body was found in a drainage system at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), wrapped and Dumped in UNN Campus.

The decomposing body was found around UNN stadium junction / Eni-Njoku Boys Hostel on the busy road leading to behind flat.

The unidentified corpse was discovered by students as they were returning from evening lectures, The University of Nigeria Nsukka security department arrived at the scene, took the body to deposit at the University medical centre morgue and dispersed the large crowd gathered at the scene where the body was dumped.

According to information gathered by Myschoolnews reveal that a female 100 Level student in the department of Medical Laboratory (med lab) has been missing since Tuesday after Chem 171 practicals.

The body discovered in a drainage system within the UNN campus is alleged to be a female 100 Level student in the department of Medical Laboratory (med lab) The body emits a strong smell, indicating that it has been there for some time.

Investigators are probing whether the body was dumped at the scene by unknown individuals or if it had been there unnoticed.

Students who gathered to witness this gory sight captured pictures and videos, which have quickly gone viral on social media platforms.

Authorities are closely monitoring the situation, and more details are expected to emerge soon. Stay tuned for further updates as the investigation unfolds.
