Benue SUBEB Staff Multipurpose Cooperative, A Saving Grace -Tachin

The Executive Chairman, Benue State Universal Basic Education Board, SUBEB, Rev Philip Tachin has described the SUBEB Staff Multi-purpose Cooperative Society Limited as a saving grace to the entire Board.

The Chairman made this remark while performing the Foundation Laying Ceremony of the Multi Purpose Cooperative office building in Makurdi.

He saidsaid the cooperative had been a reliable and dependable outfit in times of financial need for the staff of the board.

Dr. Tachin who was represented by the Permanent Member of the Board, Rev Samuel Ker also thanked the leadership of the cooperative for the laudable project and promised the cooperation of the management for it’s overall success.

Earlier, the Chairman of the Cooperative, Mr. Dickson Orkoh said that the cooperative, which was established over a decade ago has suffered office accommodation problems from inception making his Exco to initiate the project to deal with the challenge.

Mr. Orkoh further said that the cost of the project was beyond the lean resources of the Cooperative and requested assistance from management for successful completion of the project.

He appreciated the Executive Chairman and his management team for granting approval for the use of the space where the building was situated.

The Director Quality Assurance of the Board, Mrs. Dooshima Jibo thanked the cooperative’s Exco for the initiative and encouraged staff and management to support it.
