Benue State Government has announced a third positive case of COVID-19 in the State.
The governor, Samuel Ortom, gave the identity of the infected person as Mrs. Rebecca Apedzan, a former Federal lawmaker.
The Governor who briefed journalists after an expanded meeting of the State Action Committee on Covid-19, noted that announcing the identity of a COVID-19 case is to enhance the tracking of those who might have come in contact with the patient.

Ortom called on those who have made contact with Apedzan in the last few days to come forward for testing which he said is free.
He assured Benue people that testing positive to COVID-19 is not the end of life saying that many people who tested positive have been treated and discharged.
