Reactions continue to trail the eviction of Bamike Olawunmi, popularly known as Bambam, from the Big Brother Naija house.
For the first time in the history of the reality show, a housemate was evicted on Saturday night after the regular party.
It was announced by the host Ebuka Uchendu last week that he would party with the housemates.
He also told the viewers that there would be a special guest that night.
No one envisaged that that special guest would be the bearer of the bad news for Bambam, Mr. Steve Mabusela from Deloit, an auditing firm.
While Ebuka walked into the arena most of the housemates were surprised.
Those who were up for eviction were uncomfortable.
Ebuka partied with them and followed them to the sitting room.
While they were all in a happy mood discussing the party and asking him a few questions, he asked them to take a seat with a smiling face.
He told them that there would be a special guest for them.
The housemates were expecting a celebrity to walk in.
Some were chanting the name ‘Wizkid.’
As they were all seated, Ebuka’s demeanour changed.
The smile on his face vanished.
To the shock of the viewers, especially the housemates the next thing that happened was the auditor from Deloit walking in with the eviction envelop.
The nominated housemates were told to stand and Bambam’s name was mentioned as the nominee with the least amount of votes.

Viewers and housemates are still amazed by the development and are still asking questions.
Some think it is April fool’s joke.
Speaking of the eviction, a twitter user with the handle @Da_Slim_Chick said, “This Bambam’s eviction happened like rapture. Ebuka came like a thief in the night.”
Similary another twitter user @teawithpancakes, expressed that “The way Ebuka came for Bambam, that’s how Jesus will come for us.”
For @Itschigbo, Bambam’s eviction looked surreal.
He said “Bambam is gone. From party, straight to eviction. It looks like a movie to me.”
A fan of Bambam @DamianDora1 said, “This is the most painful eviction I have experienced since I have been watching Big Brother Naija. I could not sleep last night.”
Whether there would still be an eviction show or not this night is unknown at this moment.
What happens next? Only time will tell.
