Last night, Big Brother Naija housemate, told a fellow housemate, Rico that she had only N2, 000 in her bank account before entering the Big Brother house.

She revealed this after their party on Saturday night.

Rico was talking about his life before the Big Brother house, saying that he was ashamed of mentioning how much was left in his bank account before the show.

Alex begged him to say it but he refused to reveal the amount.

Alex, who is not ashamed to spill almost everything about her life, said that she had only N2, 000 in her bank account.

She further spoke about her family’s financial problems, saying that her father’s salary was not enough to cater for the family.

She said, “My father earns N60, 000 a month. That is not enough to take care of the family. There were times when we did not have food to eat at home. Things were so bad that I had to leave school just to look for money.

“I was even the one that paid my younger sister’s school fees before the Big Brother show.”

Alex’s’ revelation came barely 24 hours after her mother Mrs. Ebere Asogwa, urged Nigerians to vote for her daughter.

She appealed to Nigerians to overlook her daughter’s shortcomings and vote for her.

In an instagram post, Mrs. Ebere Asogwa said Alex inherited crying from her, adding that the housemate should be forgiven.

She said: “Alex is a very emotional person, when she gets angry and does not want to react. She cries it out just like me. She picked it from me. Initially I was angry about the way she cried when Leo was evicted and I had to ask myself so many questions about what is happening but I answered the question myself.

“All she did was picked from me, even as a mother when I get angry and I don’t want to be harsh on anyone I move to a corner and cry it out. Unfortunately there is no hiding place in BBNaija because there are cameras everywhere so you all see her crying all the time.

“Please all of you that picked on her on the way she cried should please forgive her, I have forgiven her. She has apologized during her diary session on Monday. I forgave her in most ways that offended all of us because she has realized her mistakes.

“At a time she was withdrawn from activities in the house but I thank God she has come back to her senses. I thank you all that have been voting and praying for her because this has kept her going thus far. Ten people have gone but Alex is still there, we thank you all.
