Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the November 16 governorship election in Bayelsa State has arrived the headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to receive his Certificate of Return as governor-elect.

INEC had declared him winner of the election earlier on Friday following the sacking of the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate David Lyon and his deputy.
The apex court on Thursday nullified Lyon’s election on the ground that his deputy submitted a forged certificate to INEC.
Diri arrived in the company of his deputy.
