Arsenal’s sloppy start to the season continued as they hosted Aston Villa in their sixth match of the season.
The visitors looked more determined to make something out of the game and their efforts yielded result in the twentieth minute as a result of a defensive mistake from Arsenal’s back line which caused the gunners an early goal.
The gunners were reduced to 10-men in the 41st minute as Ainsley Maitland-Niles was sent off for a reckless challenge following a second yellow card.

Nicolas Pepe equalized for the home team from the penalty spot after Matteo Guendouzi was brought down in the box but Aston Villa regained momentum as they increase their lead less than 60 seconds after the gunners equalized.
The 10-man gunners came back twice to win the match 3-2 and moved to fourth position on the table.
