The Army on Monday arrested some suspected members of the terrorists group, Boko Haram at Kurnari Village and Nayinawa in Yobe State.
The terrorists who were running away to safety included a father and son.
Army spokesman, Brig.-Gen. Sani Usman, in a statement issued on Tuesday, identified the arrested terrorists as Bukar Waziri, 25, Mammade Lawan, 20, and father and son, Muhammadu Damina, 40, and Isah Muhammadu, 15.
According to him, the terrorists fled their hideout at Talala and Buk in Damboa Local Government Area of Borno before they were apprehended.
Said, Army spokesman: “During preliminary investigation, they claimed that they were fleeing from the terrorists’ hideout at Talala and Buk in Damboa Local Government Area of Borno State because of the unbearable military onslaughts and bombardments on their various locations.”
