There are strong indications that the All Progressives Grand Alliance is not ready to vacate Government House, Awka, Anambra State.

Professor Chukwuma Soludo, its candidate in the ongoing gubernatorial election is currently leading in two-thirds of the Local Government Areas of the state.

Results of six LGAs are being expected for the exercise to be brought to a close.

Although there are 21 LGAs in Anambra, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared that elections did not hold in Ihiala LGA.

In all, Soludo has a total of 89,490 votes across 14 LGAs, followed by Ozigbo with 43,142, and Uba with 35,788 votes.
