APC changes date of national convention

The National Convention of the All Progressives Congress has been rescheduled to hold on Saturday, June 23, 2018.

It was earlier scheduled to hold on June 2.

The change in date was announced on the party’s Twitter handle, @OfficialAPCNg.

According to the National Publicity Secretary of the party, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, the inauguration of the new executives would follow on June 25, 2018.

The change in date, it was gathered, followed the approval of the request of the National Convention Committee to that effect.

The committee is chaired by the Governor of Jigawa State, Alhaji Mohammed Badaru Abubakar.

The new date is to allow muslims complete the Ramadan fast going on.
