Senate Minority Leader, Godswill Akpabio, has commiserated with the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, the entire leadership of the Senate and the APC caucus in the Senate, over the untimely death of Senator Ali Wakili.
Particularly, he also commiserated with the family of the deceased.
Akpabio’s message is contained in a press statement he personally signed.
“What is Life?” Akpabio asked rhetorically apparently shocked by Wakili’s death.

The Senate Minority Leader described his late colleague as “a great nationalist and consummate politician.”
Akpabio, further noted that Wakili was a unique gentleman, a friend and an astute administrator.
He said Wakili was a patriot whose contribution to nation-building would be missed and prayed for the repose of his soul.
“On behalf of myself, my dear family and the PDP Caucus of the 8th Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, I commiserate with the Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki, the APC Senate Caucus and the family of late Distinguished Senator Ali Wakili on the untimely demise of this great Nationalist,” he said.
